In Ottawa, Kansas we foster development, opportunity, and knowledge and take pride in the education of our citizens. Our local school district, USD 290, maintains three neighborhood elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Students at the high school have course selections to guide them in either a vocational or a college preparatory educational pathway, and our school system is consistently state-recognized for excellence in both math and reading.
