ABC Southern California Continuing Education Schedule

ABC Southern California Chapter existed since 1974. We moved to Chino in 1992. The office had 3,500 square feet of space, which included two classrooms and a lab located in two adjacent buildings, and six staff mem- bers to support the chapter and 300 students. In May 1999, ABC SoCal moved to Anaheim into the front building of our complex. In April 2004 we moved into our current training facility and rented 35,000 square feet of space. We purchased this building in 2011, and now have 55,000 square feet of space. We have a total of 11 classrooms a main lab, sheet metal, motor controls and plumbing area for hands on training. We currently have four different trades taught at ABC SoCal. Electrical, Plumbing, Low Voltage and Sheet metal. In 1993, ABC SoCal became one of the first non-union Apprenticeship training programs to be approved in Cali- fornia. Electrical in 1993, Plumbing in 1995 and, EST, HVAC & Sheet Metal in 2011. Since 1993, over 2000 apprentices have graduated from all programs. Each year the number of continuing education classes we offer increase. In 2021 we are offering over 200 con- tinuing education classes, including safety and management classes. ABC SoCal instructors are well trained and dedicated individuals. There are 6,587 NCCER certified instructors and only 42 Master Craft Instructors in the world, which is the highest NCCER instructor certification available.
